A very hearty stew with mostly pantry items.

Makes either 6 hamburger buns or 9 hot dog buns.

This is pretty damn close to the takeout version. Make it in the pressure cooker if you’re short on time.

Make some in the fall and use it for spiced butter, pumpkin pie, or drinks.

Basic sauce from crushed tomatoes. Never pay extra for jarred marinara again.

These are great and hold together well. The toppings are what make it fun. Make a bunch to freeze ahead.
